These sermons are Biblical teachings that will give you a more in-depth understanding of God's Word.
This is a great sermon for how we should handle our memories of the sins we have done. We have all committed sin and they do come back to our minds. How do we handle it?
Should we dwell in those memories Some things we have done in our lives are horrific. What place do they have with us now? Watch and listen to Voddie Baucham as he Biblically teaches what the Bible has to say.
Why does God let bad things happen? This is a popular question that a lot of us has asked including myself. In defending God's Word we need answers to questions like this to back up scripturally why we believe. You will get asked this, it seems like the go-to question that has stumped some of us for a long time.
In this sermon John Macarthur does a great job at answering this question soundly with the Bible.
There have always been false teachers. Since the early church, the Bible has told us to be aware of them with their words against true scripture preaching. Every Christian has the gift of discernment, being able to tell what is Biblically right or wrong. Some are strong in this gift and are able to tell even the most cunning of false teachers to warn others. False teachers do not come with a label and will never identify themselves as so. Making themselves appear Biblical is what they do as well as help send people to hell.
We learn through God's Word that He is in control of everything. God is sovereign. Everything will come to pass that is in His will and that He has ordained. We can't change the mind of God by telling Him something that He didn't know. So, why do we pray to God for Him to intervene in our lives when everything is set according to His unchanging and all powerful will? RC Sproul takes us to God's Word for the answer.
This is a great sermon from Pastor John Macarthur. If I were to ask you how many religions are there in this world. You would start counting in your mind and then realize that there are so many people claiming different religions that you couldn't count them all. And more religions are being created all the time. You learn literally from the Bible just how many there are. Jesus tells us in many ways that there are only two.
The Bible is the greatest work we have and Pastor Steve Lawson gives a great sermon as to why. The Bible from Genesis to Revelation is all about Jesus Christ and Jesus, Himself confirmed this in the Bible.
The Old Testament was when His people waited for the coming Messiah, the Gospel is when the Messiah was here with us and the rest of the New Testament preached of His coming, His life, Death and resurrection.
